A New Paradigm for Deep Learning
When people set out to build a AI, their goals were very divorced from the natural world. Now we have models which are grounded in much more naturalistic settings. But then it's like, okay, so we want to recreate a human in the natural world? And that suddenly starts to be a bit weird because there are 8 billion people on the planet. If you want to create humans, it's actually not a hard to create new humans,. although, you know, it does take two of you and a little bit of time.
