Is It a Good Idea to Be More Intentional About It?

I try to mak it seem personally enriching to people, because it is. I think we're remarkably cynical and pessimistic about our fellow humans. And i'm starting to wonder if that's the result of getting incomplete data. The news tends to focus on negative things when we withdraw from the world. But just kind of doing those sort of street level interactions on a regular basis and connecting with people just gives you a healthier perception of humanity. Ah, there's a lot that we have to worry about, but just kind of Doing Those Things makes me feel better about humanity - even though i've had bad experiences in public.
