I had some funky stuff going on with the shoulder and also the neck on that side, but just carrying things really helped us. And you're so right about having a strong neck being so protective. Our 14 year old daughter is a water polo goalie and it's sort of a high risk concussion environment. We feel like we were trying to future proof her from a concussion standpoint by making sure she has strong neck and strong shoulders.
