What Is a Perceptual Representation System?

There's a special part of your long turm memory called a perceptual representation system, which automatically filters the information entering your eyes and turns it into words. And then they hit your working memory as words, right? i was aware for quite a while that there must be some sort of part of long tim memory that's doing this. I just didn't realize that, firstly, er, it's a separate system to all the ones i already knew. And secondly, it has a name. And that name is perceptual representation system. So these things which actually will filter, they will actually change your perception of the world. Because the, you know, the perception, you can't see
