The Importance of Reason in Philosophy
Hume's philosophy is a sharp critique of representation. It does not elaborate a critique of relations, but rather a critique of representations. For Hume, imagination, reason, understanding are all the mind as it is constituted by affections. And I don't really think there's a sharp distinction between reason and understanding for Hume,. There is in Kant, as there is in Kant's system.
