In the first part of your guide section, you also have some really intriguing information on lewis's personal background and how that led him to write this book. He he fell away from his christian upbringing in his teens. But even though he abandoned his christianity at that stage, he didn't abandon his belief in the objectivity of value. And then one other very quick thing about his background is he read the philosopher samuel alexander. Contemplation is what we're looking at something when we're outside, when we're inspecting it from a neutral point of view. It helps us understand morality or eco-systems as a kind of atmosphere for life.
