Congo - The Story of a New State
In 1960, when Congo becomes independent is a year that Ralph Bunch dubs the year of Africa. There's only 17 college graduates in the entire territory when they gain independence. And so Congo is an example where it doesn't go well. It ends up being three months for Ralph Bunch and the Congo episode actually lasts for years. The whole place starts to break apart, including having a civil war.
