The Venetian Inquisition - The Inquest of Rome
Bruno was the dogia of venice in the fifteenth century. He had a falling out with his house guest, giovanni mocinigo. The nobleman turned bruno into the venetian inquisition and accused him of heresy. Bruno defended himself by saying that he spoke from a philosophic viewpoint rather than a religious one. His trial actually went pretty well for him.
