Introduction
This is the memory palace o netameo. Shield your eyes from the sun with your hand, and we will stand on this bluff above the sea and try to see a whale. If you're lucky there on shore, you might see a flash of black when the whale's back breaks the surface. You'll see its fluke, that silhouetted wy and then slip beneath the water to do whatever it is they do down there. And so much of what they do is unknown still despite our species fascination with theirs.
