Dr Ross: We have the advanced instrumentation to get images of those first individual stars. Do you think that will happen anytime in the next century? Well, if we're really lucky, we might find a really big cluster of these first born stars. Dr Ross: Is it possible we can try to persuade the US taxpayer to fund something even bigger and better than the James Webb? A very cheap project I'm interested in is to put radio telescopes in the backside of the moon. This can be done for just millions of dollars, not billions.
