Layer Six: A Formalized Risk Management Program
Risk is a lens through which we deal with all the layers. But what you're saying is layer six is a formalized risk management program. So this is where the management of the risk register, the disposition of the risk, the conversations with the business like that's part of it. If you don't know if a server contains sensitive data or an application or workload, then you're not going to know what its risk is. You can't quantify risk until you've got the other variables in hand basically.
