The Importance of Patience in Commercial Real Estate
Over the trailing 12 months through Q1 of 2023, domestic investors acquired $580 billion of US commercial real estate and non US investors only acquired 40 billion. Over a trailing 12 number of foreign buyers, it's only 7% went to foreign buyers. You've got to be able, if you can get in when there's not money and stick around until it's awash with money, you do well on a capital intensive asset. And but you got to be a little patient. It's not a flip. It's, and you got to focus on decent real estate because you got to get to the other side.
