The Inefficiencies of Multi Club Ownership in European Soccer

The logic of multi club ownership is from a sporting perspective really obvious. The way it works is that if a player is good enough to play at the very top level at 18 to 21 years old, they can usually break into a top team. But if they're not, they will have to be loaned or often sold. Player development is insanely inefficient in European soccer.
