The History of Internets

Mi murphy's 20 19 quartz piece describes the history of the internet from arpinet to mobile with a brief glimpse into the five g future. Murphy explains that over the internets first three decades, it remained a tool for academics, the mill military and some nirty tinkerers. Businesses and war technical civilians started coming on line in the late eighties and early nineties. It reminds me of my first interaction with computers via flopy disk, chunky key boards and blinking command line inter faces.
