Is God's Permissive Will of God?
Benedict said he was referring to the permissive will of god, rather than god's active will. God permits things to happen, but doesn't will them to happen. He corrected that during a wednesday general audience. Y ye, that just because we have problems in the church now doesn't mean that has two pontificates were without problem.
