There are two or three different versions of this, but they ambush two sons over to Ernie's sons. They capture him, send him to France, we know he's in prison, so he's out of it. But there's certainly an element where it might well be there's internal maneuvering amongst black generals that basically make Louverture the full guy. He's only pretending to lay down his arm, he's actually going to come back and fight you.
