Prison in France has a much higher HIV testing rate than the average French prison. Dr. Merue says patients just need to put a little fingerprick's worth of blood in each circle to get tested for HIV and other diseases. Getting tested for HIV is a key part of the fight against the disease, because once you're diagnosed, you can get treatment. But despite their efforts, some patients still refuse to be tested.
