The Rich and the Poor

If you eat food and drive a car, live in a home frequent restaurants, decorate your house, enjoy basic creature comforts, then you are rich by a global standard. Most of us have responsibilities and hek we have desires that require finances. Jesus was aware that there were those who believed god wanted his people to be rich. James knew this. And jame s, like jesus, grew up steeped in the tora, and he experienced poverty. Do not wear yourself out to get rich. Do not trust your own cleverness. Cast but a glance at riches and they're g one. For they will surely sprout wings and fly off to the sky
