The Gap Between Talking and Interaction

I thought my whole life is built around conversations. And then I'm going to be analysed by you. Please don't tell me I'm shit at it. That'd be very disheartening. If everybody's world and life is made up of conversations, we would be lost without them. Is there a gap between talking and interacting? What's the space between the words and the interaction? Because conversation is not just what, like, how much of conversation is about the words and how much is about the other stuff?
