i think we're in a moment where we need to be open curious and even moving towards this unknown new, says Russell. You draw from all things country music which is was educational for me uh russell because i am not a country music guy but you talk about the rise of outlaw country. How do we apply that analogy more to what does that mean for christians today how do we adopt this sense of we need to be in a proper way? "There's a there’s a root that comes out of the ground and grows in a direction," he says.
Our good friend and partner in The After Party project, Russell Moore, joins us to talk about his new book, “Losing Our Religion: An Altar Call for Evangelical America.” Curtis and Russell talk about why “mapping” our loss is critical for those who currently feel culturally, politically, or spiritually homeless. We explore two kinds of maps - the “treasure map” and the “minefield map” - and why Christians need both.
