Arorin could venture out into the rhine forests or the savannah grass lands and gather fruits and nuts, which it would have been able to eat. Chimpanzees supplement their diet with insects, which they will use wooden sticks and plant stems to entice them from their mounds. Once again, this is not impossible for our ancestors. But it should come as no surprise that most of these implements would have rotted away over time, leaving no modern evidence for us to discover.
