Sergeant Phillips' death remains shrouded in secrecy and mystery. Army Criminal Investigation Command announced a $25,000 reward for any information that would lead to the arrest of those responsible for his death. The US military clearly doesn't know everything about his death but has also decided that what it does know is most definitely not fit for public consumption. It's entirely possible that if discovered a Russian or Iranian special forces operator would resort to deadly force to ensure their presence remain undetected.
