How to Classify Fingertip Injuries?
The best thing to do with a zone one injury is just put your hands in your pockets. Clean it if there's foreign material, debride it. If something looks obviously de-vitalized, get rid of that. Otherwise, put a good dressing on it, and arrange follow up within the first week.
