What's the Deal With the Consecrated Oil?

Greece invaded Judea and said, you can't be Jewish. And then the Jewish people led by Judah Maccabee revolted throughout the invaders. Then there's also this additional story onto that. They had their menorah in the temple that they had to light with the consecrated oil. Problem was they had all of these barrels of oil, but only one of the barrels,. I think, or only enough oil for like one day was consecrated enough. It was going to take eight days to send somebody to a different city and have them get other oil and bring it back.
