i think the digital commons are going to be one of the most dynamic spaces of our economy this century. The technology for generating and distributing energy is distributed by design, right? Not a big oil rig here or a coal mine there. It's a solar panel, a wind power turbine dotted on every roof across the landscape. That's an incredible opportunity. Now we've got the social technology of creative commons, licensing. So it's giving granularity to different kinds of ideas and enabling people to share their work in exactly the appropriate way.
