Wim Hof's method of more vigorous stimulating breathing to help activate. For me, that was coming from a shut down state of my nervous system. I made a daily practice during my morning routine where I would actually pop in one of his YouTube videos and allow him to take me through his guided practice. And then over time, learning how to calm myself by doing that deep belly breathing.
