The History of Irish Literature

In England, you can't do a GCSE in Gaelic or an A-level. You can't study about Druidry in any English school unless I happen to be head of ARI. It ought to be across, across the country because it's our own lost heritage. In Japan, that every decent Japanese man and woman is half Shinto, which is their indigenous pagan religion. And now they're all scientific as well. They're sort of part Western. So I think in Britain, we should be part ancient Druid pagan,. That's our Shinto tradition, which worship nature, the trees, the kami, the Japanese call it, the gods of spirit of place.
