[00:01:38] Hello beautiful souls, today we're here with a five minute Friday broadcast. We’re here again with Thomas Miller. If you didn't hear our first podcast with him he's the host of the subconscious mind mastery podcast. It's a podcast he's been hosting for over six years and it covers the powers of manifestation, the laws of the universe how the conscious, and subconscious minds work together. [00:02:18] Hey Julie. Glad to be back with you again for a quick five minute lightning round.

[00:02:23] We're gonna do some rapid fire question rapid fire. Whatever comes to your mind we're just gonna go with that. All right. Have you ever connected with an angel or a loved one on the other side. Or maybe because I know your girlfriend does connect with them as well. Can you tell us one of those stories or a story that just really touched your heart like that.

[00:02:45] I feel that we have a guardian angel and I connected with mine Eragon. I asked Eragon for Eric Garner's name and I have often seen Eragon in jest. And you know again don't see an image but I've seen that Aragorn is riding on the wing of the airplane with me or sitting up on the hood of the car Eragon loves to travel and all these fun places. But yes I've absolutely seen that. And then I had a stretch of about 18 months or so where mostly through writing for me that I definitely connected with souls on the other side and one of the cool ones I'll tell you about so I've always loved radio and voiceover stuff and I grew up in Tulsa Oklahoma which is where Paul Harvey happened to grow up. Now Paul Harvey was a newscaster on the radio for years up until he was eight he died at 90 and he worked up two weeks before he passed away. And I was communicating with Paul Harvey about several things and he gave me some specific instructions of things that I needed to do in my voice work which I've implemented and still am implementing. But yes I have connected for sure.

[00:04:00] I love that. What is a one thing people can do to live more consciously that is why I created that four ring system we talked about in the podcast.

[00:04:12] You have to think consciously you have to think outside yourself. So the quickest path from here to there is to just ask how could I serve somebody else in a better way. And this isn't putting yourself down so that you are completely surrendered its still meeting your needs it's still you doing what you need to do but just think about how can I serve somebody else better. We run a walk the other day and walk by this new little one of these outdoor shopping centers that they're doing now you know where you put apartments in a shopping area together and often it's outside so their patios and restaurants and everything and they had a movie theater that I didn't recognize the name of. Well here are the billboards for it and now it's not only dinner and drinks but it's you're in this space captain's chair it's like you know Beam Me Up Scotty kind of thing that now it's not you know and I so I walked that back and thought you know back in when I was growing up you go to a movie and you'd sit in a rather uncomfortable chair and the floor would be sticky because somebody before you had spilled their drink and you'd listen to somebody Munch popcorn over your ear and it just wasn't the you know I mean it was okay and that's how we watched movies. Then came a little bit more comfortable seating. Now comes the meal and the service and the drinks and now comes that in a really comfortable Booth. You know it's like so they're just upping the game upping the game upping the game how can they make it more entertaining more serving How can you have a better experience going to the movies.

[00:05:55] Well that's how you start to live your whole life in a great way that you could start with it is just to say if I meet somebody today and I'm just with them even for 30 seconds maybe it's the cashier at the store when I go in to buy a cup of coffee that I'm going to leave that person feeling good about something having just brushed energies with me for a few minutes. Mm hmm. And if you can if you just have that as your goal for the next 30 days it will change your life.

[00:06:27] I love that. How do you stay in flow when life gets really busy.

[00:06:35] You don't want to do what I did. Well what's that little over five years ago while I was doing Kundalini yoga. One morning it was on my birthday I got up from doing the Kundalini yoga and you know you do the breath of fire and I had a rhythmic.

[00:06:56] My heart wasn't beating right and that's my dad had it.

[00:07:01] And that started a journey that I'm still experience sometimes where my heart doesn't beat right.

[00:07:09] What that's given me though is that when things start to get too busy like you're talking about for me and maybe this is a solution that others do you just don't want to have to do it with atrial fibrillation take a pause step back away from it. Now for me it's not a choice it's called survival so the universe built in to my very strong personality that I have to step back. So I think what you do is you just intentionally take a pause and that like where you might have pushed through and maybe you don't have that health element hanging over you. Most people wouldn't but you just intentionally say you know what. It's my spiritual survival Yeah. Because you need that pause.

[00:08:07] There is great wisdom in the pause space empty space.

[00:08:13] Let's do something here don't say anything for that was four seconds.

[00:08:22] Now everybody on your podcast is leaning and going. What's wrong with my phone right. That was just four seconds out of our day we we have a really hard time being still. So take that for and turn it into four minutes and then turn it into an hour. Just take a nap take a break. Step away. That's what I do now.

[00:08:43] I love it. All right. Let's see what is the one piece of advice you'd most want to impart on your children.

[00:08:53] Go with the flow. Listen to listen to inside of both my kids have had that my son was a junior in high school and an opportunity for a summer trip to Africa. Rwanda of all places came up and he knew in his heart that he wanted to go and everybody in the family argued against him. I was his one rock that he could come back to and when it was in such doubt with everybody else so you're crazy they're killing each other over there there's violence there's all kinds of bad things can happen to you there's disease you can't go there was like What do you want to do what do you your heart tell you and he was like Dad I know I'm supposed to go to Africa and I was like then you got to go to Africa and he went and had a life transformational experience my daughter had a similar thing where she connected on a on an overseas summer trip actually she went to the Netherlands but it was the same kind of thing where she just knew that she knew that she knew that she wanted to do that and she ended up going and and had an equally marvelous time so it would be to hear that small voice and even if the whole world is pressing against you follow it beautiful advice.

[00:10:05] Last question I know this is a biggie but if you could summarize it what's the purpose of life soul growth so Earth is a dense energy.

[00:10:16] In the podcast we talked about the scale of energy. So if you take energy if you take our experience and just put it on a numeric scale and really what we're going for is like a ladder up and down low to high Earth is a soupy dense energy it's down there on the lower end of the ladder and what that means is like when we transition you know this from your work when we transition we actually get a bump we can a relief it's we get. It's like if you go from heavy like when I fly into Dallas in the summer it's hot and the air here is heavy. When I get off in Denver it's so light and fresh and it's cool and the air is then and crisp. That's what happens when we transition we go from soupy dense thick hot uncomfortable human to light and fresh and relief.

[00:11:14] So it's like death is not something to be afraid of. But our purpose is we came here to put our gloves on and slug it out for a few rounds.

[00:11:27] We came here to have things be difficult because this is the best place in the whole universe to grow so when we come here you know they say and I'm sure you've seen this in your work that from the other side they applaud us for being here. Oh I have my new little box here I can do. Yay. I love that. That's them cheering us on for taking this on. Well 100 percent so we come here to learn. So if you just just look at your life from the perspective that everything that happens to you is intended for your soul to have a chance to grow. And when you go to the gym and you get on that bench press machine and you put you know you're pushing up against the weight that's so heavy it hurts. It's like it's hard. That's what we're doing but what happens when you do that over and over and over your muscles get stronger and that's what's going on with our soul our soul is getting stronger as we encounter these difficult challenges. And then sometimes we just need fun and relaxing and that helps our soul grow too. So it's all a mix. We live in a world of duality so we have struggles and we have great times and we enjoy all of those as we grow as a soul.
