The Case of Wayne Cousins

Wayne Cousins was a firearms officer in the Kentish town of Diehl. On March 9, 2021, police were called to his home after they found charred human remains inside a rubble sack on private land. When homicide detectives tried to get in touch with him regarding the grisly discovery near his property, he refused to talk and erased all incriminating data from his cell phone. It wasn't until forensic investigators examined dental records that they began to piece together what had happened that night. The burned body was that of Sarah Evert, and she could be placed in the company of none other than Cousins.
