The future is the ultimate land unknowable landscape, right? All we have are heuristics. Like if you can conceive of a way to materially improve your circumstances, you can do so on in the expectation that sometimes when you materially improveyour circumstances, you discover new ways to better them. It's funny. I did you see the movie In Silico, the one they made, the ten-year development of AI in England. And basically the way that they thought about the difference between AI and life was that life is the errors. But not really errors is just the stuff that you wouldn't predict.
