My Mom and the Making Gay History Book
It was 13 years before she went to a P-flag meeting. Then she jumped in with both feet. She started going to meetings and then she... I remember we went to the 1993 March as did she, and she had her P-flag sash and all of her buttons. And she co-chaired New York City P-flag dinner, which was really wonderful. My mom and I were featured on the front page of the Metro section of what was then New York News Day.
