The Apollonian and Dionysian a Drives
The subtitle of the book is art and decadence, from nephratiti to emily dickinson. When she talks about decadence, it seems to me, talking about, like, pushing the boundaries of what art is and what art can represent. What i'm really aiming to do here is to explore the pagan psychology and how that creates a set of morals and a set of political institutions. And again, i see a sort of secular christianity in much of liberalism and progressivism. It takes on a quasi religious tone.
