The Theory of Morally Motivated Violence

I like reading accounts of bullies who enjoy humiliating their victims or to go a little farther afield. I also like reading about trolls, like self-identified internet trolls. Could your theory of morally motivated violence just be stated as people when they commit acts of violence in the case of trolling? Is it not so much that they think they're being actively virtuous as that they think what they're doing is morally permissible?
