The best way to write an engaging talk is just to really have a career problem upfront or a clear kind of reason for people to listen to. Create some sort of problem or puzzle or mystery for them to chew on while they're listening to you and then they'll all the way because they want to hear the answer. We just have this human instinct for puzzles and mysteries that we have to find out what happens so if you can if you can create that puzzle that mystery that problem very quickly upfront people will usually stick away stick around all the way to the end.
