Mama and the Painter Lady

Mama can't abide people who don't speak to elders when they walk into a place and the painter lady hadn't said boo to a soul, young or old. So mama waited on everybody else first. But the painter lady kept right on with the questions even after she took a stool at the counter. Me and Lou wondered where in the world the painter lady was from that they make potato salad without hard boiled eggs.
