Turkey's Ambivalent Partner in NATO
John Avlon: Turkey is the second largest and probably the second most powerful military inside NATO. He says it's dangerous for NATO because you're going to use these against, I mean, we can explain why it's bad. Avlon: They may be able to get F 16s in return for allowing Sweden into NATO. "This is a country that does not truly belong in the Western Alliance," he says.
