Dealing With National Trauma
As a country, we have a collective trauma and it seemed Mitch, we always had a way of sort of navigating it. Americans kind of knew they had these collective wounds, trauma from our past. But now it seems we can't deal with them. Maybe we need to get back to understanding that these things are part of their history. We don't have to try to suppress them or freak out about them. And every country has its sins and collective trauma.
