The US Playing Too Much Defense in Cyberspace

A recent massive hack that hit a popular provider of internet-enabled voice calls was more and more widespread than originally thought. Mandian traced it back to a malicious version of X-Trader software, downloaded by an unwitting 3CX employee. A Chinese language threat group known as Genesis Day or Tang Snake targeted a dozen South Korean research and academic institutions in January. And finally, the White House's Acting National Cyber Director, Kimba Walton, said she saw the US playing too much defense in cyberspace.
