The American Mission in Avanistan
There was, you know, tereas. Also this idea that we're going to change a vrand society to the norms of the west. The american mission in avanistan itself was based on this sort of contrad contradicting ideas. They were never quite sure if they were nation building or if they were ou knor there to punish iter. All of that combined to make a very, a very incoherent strategy, and a strategy that was basically politipoliticising things such as aid and development so that it would help serve the American mission in Avanistan.
