The Carbon Reduction Act
The bill is almost all carrot and no stick. I like the carrot approach because you get much more buying from people. People see it as an opportunity rather than a punishment. There is a little bit of a stick in here. It's not just a little there is the first time we've ever put a fee on methane methane, being a very potent greenhouse gas. This is why we'll be able to see the level of carbon pollution reduction. And the addition we have got o add, we've got to triple, essentially almost triple, the size of our electric grid with clean energy by 20 50.
