52 billion dollars is unfortunately dropped in the bucket. We alone cannot invest as much as china can, but we and our allies together can't absolutely do so. One of the few levers of power we have over chinese to day is that all the advanced equipment, all the advanced tooling that you need to manufacture chips are really manufactured in three countries. If none of those companies are selling to china, ch China will not be able to build a single fathom in that country. And hey will not bable to produce that equipment for decades, if ever, yes?
