Are Human Beings Not Designed to Deal With Scale?
Human beings are not designed to deal with skill like our brains evolved in prehistoric times. And we don't understand scale. If you tell me something is ten million this, and some other thing is one billion that, at an intellectual level, i know the difference between ten million and one million. But my eyes glaze over. Our brains are not equipped to deal with large numbers. That's one aspect. The other aspect of how humans are bilt is that we have limited bandwit, limited energy, and for rational reasons, we have to focus on what an immediate impact on our lives. We gravitate toward man leaders in ignoring other aspects of this. All of these are a dilemma
