The Fantasia by Elgar
Elgar's Fantasia is naturally a fantasy, with a very improvisational feeling to it. The lines interact in a way that only Bach can, with absolute clarity within the complexity and density of the music. You might also notice that it sounds a bit more romantic than other Bach than you may have heard. Elgar follows these rules to a T, which is very helpful since he's taking a three-line organ piece and blowing it up to a gigantic orchestra.
