The Origins of D&D Monster Cards
There was supposed to be a second series in 1983 that would have done like Fienfolio monsters and it never got out there. There's an added layer of aesthetic that they remind me of, you know what cigarette cards are? Oh, yeah. And reference cards in general are I think an underappreciated facet of Dungeon of the Dragons. They made too many decks, but I don't know how useful people found the spell cards.
