Is Jose Mourinho actually a defensive manager? As with many tricky topics like this, we're starting to see it's a bit more nuanced in that. And I think that inter-team was probably the closest any team ever got to being the purest form of Mourinho's image on the pitch. At this point, we're still seeing Mourinho leaving style to one side at the moment. He is undeniably a serial winner of football matches and a motivator of men. Yeah, you could argue that that team and that season was actually his peak, the peak of his career.
