Is It Illegitimate for the Supreme Court to Assert Itself in This Matter?
i think it was illegitimate when the supreme court in 19 73 prevented states from protecting the unborn. The one i would compare this to would be, like, if you leave this up to the states, it would be anarchy and chaos. Thereis long tradition of protecting people, protecting them mentally ill. So a state, it is constitutional for a state to outlaw assisted suicide. But the court sad in gluxburg, a state does not have to do it. They may ban assisteds, but they are not obliged to. And so it seems to me quite nable to allow abortion. Now, ideally, i would like abortion illegal in all 50 states, but it's a reasonable improvement
