Protein Design and Quantum Computing - What's Next?
Foldit has been very exciting and it's been really wonderful to see how quickly non-scientists have been able to get up to speed with a fairly complex problem like protein folding. The deep learning methods are going to continue to improve and we're we're really excited about pushing those forward. I think mass spectrometry is starting to come online as having as being able to screen very large numbers of designs in parallel. There's a lot we need to learn about biodistribution in the body and technologies that allow following proteins you know the pharmacodynamics and stuff will help there as well.
