How Much Control Do We Have When Making a First Impression?
The way you present yourself is with your background. There's a lot of personality there, right? You can choose a background, you can choose to hide it or you can just show a whole bunch of stuff that you curated and kind of decided what to present. People also come with their own stereotypes, their own biases, their own expectations. They come sort of with a template of what they expect you to be and then they look at you and see how well it fits what they expected. Yes, absolutely.
