Todd Colhab bought the 95-acre property in Woodruff where Alana Jones would be found two years later. He paid $80,000 to install an expansive chain-link fence and installed deer cameras and bear traps throughout the property. In South Carolina it is illegal for violent felons to own firearms. An Amazon account in Todd Colhab's name revealed that around the same time he'd bought padlocks, knives, targets, tactical gear and gun accessories.
