Economics is a field that's ideologically driven in a way that most fields are not. So you're going to have people with diverging values inside the same discipline. And I don't know that the discipline should say like, no, everybody should be doing one. You know, if you have these divergent values and real disagreements over things. Well, but I mean, the valence goes either way. If someone legitimately believes that there's something that would make the world a better place, then they must do it. The idea that if you're never going to take another economics class, should you think the world looks like the frictionless model? Or should you get this kind of
